Morgan starred alongside other actors in the documentary film Safe Sex for Men and Women focused on AIDS prevention and education. Part of the proceeds went towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan spearheaded other fund raising initiatives and gave a testimony at a special Congressional panel about AIDS awareness. She sits on the board of Governors of APLA and Board of Directors of Amfar. C. Everett Koop's previous deputy surgeon general requested her from time to time to sub for him during AIDS awareness activities. In addition, she was the host of an AIDS Awareness Special hosted by Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to appear twice on Nightline with regard to AIDS. Morgan has won one Emmy Award in Diane English's special Murphy Brown episode that was created specifically for Morgan. Morgan was co-starring in the ABC TV series Your Money or Your Wife with Joan Rivers. The summer was kicked off by Murder At The PTA Luncheon. Productions like Von Zerneck/Sertner, also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. The next film she was in brought her to Luxembourg to star in Harmony Gold's production of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady that also featured Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan played a part in the psychological suspense thriller made exclusively by the USA Network garnering one of the biggest ratings in the network's history.
